Dr. John Fielden

John Fielden is a Senior Director in the Corporate Technology group of KLA-Tencor Corporation, Milpitas, California. He received his B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Physics from the University of Cambridge, Cambridge, England. In his current role at KLA-Tencor, he develops technology for sources, sensors, optics etc. for use in future generations of KLA-Tencor’s semiconductor inspection and metrology systems. In previous roles, he developed ellipsometers and reflectometers for automated dimensional measurements of films and structures on semiconductor wafers.
