Professor Shaozhi Deng

As well as professor, Dr. Shaozhi Deng is dean of the School of Electronics and Information Technology and vice director of the State Key Laboratory of Optoelectronic Materials and Technologies. She was awarded her PhD degree in physics from Sun Yat-sen University. She was co-chairman of 2016 version of the IVNC in Guangzhou and is member of IVNC International Steering Committee. Her research areas include nanomaterials, micro nanoelectronic and optoelectronic devices, with focus on cold cathode electron devices for microwave and terahertz frequency electronic system applications, and photoelectric detectors for terahertz and infrared frequency.
