The International Vacuum Nanoelectronics Conference series is devoted to the science and technology of micro and nanodevices that harness vacuum and/or high electric field phenomena. The conference covers both fundamental aspects and applications. Examples include electron sources, plasmas, liquid ionizers, gas ionizers, electric propulsion, X-rays, vacuum pumps, mass filters, vacuum quantum systems, and harsh electronics.

This year we will put special emphasis on the topic of cold field emission cathodes designed for focused electron beam devices such as electron microscopes or e-Beam writers, which are devices traditionally associated with Brno institutes and companies and especially with the personality of Prof. Armin Delong, the founder of electron microscopy in Czechoslovakia in the 1950s.
