Shaw, Jonathan

Dr. Shaw retired from the Naval Research Laboratory in 2022 after working on electron emission materials and devices since 1989, including work on diamond emission devices and silicon field emitter arrays. He worked on sodium batteries at Ford, then on correlating interface electronic properties with defects at metal interfaces with III-V and II-IV semiconductors at Northwestern University and Xerox. His present interest is in lateral devices using field emission from graphene edges.
