Biography

Takatoshi Yamada was born in Japan in 1972. He received the master degree of electronics from Tokai University, Kanagawa, Japan in 1998 and Ph.D from Aoyama Gakuin University, Tokyo, Japan in 2003. He joined Department of Electrical Engineering and Electronics, Aoyama Gakuin University in 1998 and stared research on diamond field emitters. In 2003, he joined Institute of Multidisciplinary Research for Advanced Materials, Tohoku University, Miyagi, Japan to work on heteroepitaxial growth of diamond on Ir. He joined Diamond Research Center, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Tsukuba, Japan and started nano-fabrication processes of diamond for field emitters and bio-sensing devices. Since 2016, he belongs to Nano materials Research Institute, AIST. His major research interests are growth and application of electronic devices using diamond, graphene and 2D materials.
