Excursion to the Titlis

With temperatures well under zero, the conference attendees climbed up to the Titlis, 3238 meters above sea, for the excursion. Apparently the cold weather did not discourage conference participants who were numerous to take the ride to the top.

After close to an hour in Gondola, we reached the top. Strong icy wind was waiting for us there and a snowy ghostly landscape surrounded by fog. After crossing a vertiginous hanging bridge, we could admire the beautiful ice sculptures in Titlis’s famous cave and then took the ride back down to a more clement weather.
